Bauducco Natal 2023 FOOH

Sailor Studio had the honor of collaborating with Bauducco in the production of an extraordinary Fake Out-of-home (FOOH), transforming Avenida Paulista in São Paulo into a magical Christmas setting. Our goal was to create a unique visual experience by integrating real images with computer graphics, highlighting the iconic Bauducco panettone box being lifted by a crane. The surprise awaited as, when raised, a dazzling Bauducco Christmas tree was revealed.

We faced the challenge of executing our first nighttime FOOH, where integration with less light posed a significant challenge. Additionally, it was crucial to preserve the characteristics of the real Christmas tree that Bauducco had inaugurated in the same location.

To overcome the low-light difficulty, we strategically used LED lights that illuminated precisely when the imaginary box was lifted, allowing for a seamless integration between real and virtual light. Our multidisciplinary team at Sailor Studio captured high-quality images, HDRI 360 images with the real scene's lighting to be integrated later into 3D, ensuring beauty and functionality for post-production integration. Expertise in computer graphics and live-action production contributed to the success of the endeavor.

The project was a triumph, gaining notable visibility and engagement. Besides breaking the digital barrier, the campaign was showcased and well-received on TV programs. The audience appreciated how the box revealed the magic of Bauducco Christmas in the heart of Avenida Paulista, São Paulo.
